Project 10 Pan #2 (Day #1)

A few months ago, I started trying to finish the makeup I already own before purchasing new products.  The result was a complete and utter failure.

Lately, I have been on a crazy spending spree!  My fiancé saw my miscellaneous lip product drawer and said, "You have enough to last the rest of your life in there."  Sad thing is... he is probably right.

So here goes attempt number two...

Project 10 Pan (Day #25: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer)

Number 5 on my Project 10 Pan list is the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer in Radient.  This is one of my favorites, but since I don't normally have dark under eye circles I don't use it very often.  However, it is amazing after those wild and crazy nights that can leave their mark the next day!  

I love that it covers blemishes without leaving a cakey, noticeable spot on my face and it also works to brighten the cheekbone area.  Even though I use it to highlight, I still like to use a powder highlighter on top.  I'm especially attached to The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter because it adds such a beautiful glow.

While I do really like this product, I probably won't repurchase it ($7.99) because I don't honestly need it.  Maybe I'll pick it up again if I start noticing bags under my eyes, but until then I'll probably just skip this step.

What's In My Bag? (Santa Clara, CA)

Today I'm heading down to Santa Clara, CA!  I might be doing a little shopping at Santana Row, but I'm going to try really hard not to buy anything new!! I'll be taking just a few items with me in my  Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac, including:

Project 10 Pan (Day #5: Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Rose Petal)

Still going strong on Project 10 Pan!!  Hasn't it only been five days?  o__O 

True, don't judge me...  I'm still proud of myself!

Number two on my P10P list is the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Rose Petal.  

This was actually a gift, but I think they sell for around $6-7 at Target.  I was extremely curious to try Maybelline's uniquely formulated cream blush.  It's like a little bubble of product that softly squishes under the pressure of even the lightest touch.  It reminds me of soft silly putty.      

The blush initially goes on a little cakey, but then it does blend really well.  Overall, I enjoy using it and I think the color "Rose Petal" is great for everyday wear.

Project 10 Pan (Day #1)

Years ago, someone in the beauty world created Project 10 Pan (P10P).  Even though people aren't doing it as much now, I still think it's a good idea because I have a LOT of items I need to finish before I buy anything else.  It's going to be so difficult (let's be honest, it's going to be torture) not to purchase new items, but I've been on a spending spree lately and I have to cut myself off!

There are several variations online, but here are my rules:
