How To Lose Weight (What I Eat In A Day)

Here is an example of a meal plan for a typical day:

Breakfast: Fruit and Yogurt

Here I have vanilla yogurt (with an almond), cantaloupe, strawberries, raspberries,
and an orange slice.

Lunch: Tuna sandwich (with light mayo and dried cranberries)

Snack: Hard boiled egg (with light salt & pepper)

Dinner: Grilled chicken with rice & bell pepper

I know a lot of people will say not to eat fruit because it has a lot of sugar in it.  I wish I were strong enough to go for weeks without either natural or artificial sweets, but I just know that I am not.  I figure that my craving for sweets is going to lead me to eat a real, fresh strawberry OR it is going to lead me to strawberry flavored candy.  As long as I'm choosing the natural sugar, I feel like I'm doing okay.

  1. Sounds delish! I lost crazy weight when I made the decision to substitute fruit (dried, frozen or fresh) for sweets.

Want chocolate? Grab an apple. Want a cupcake? Have some melon. I told myself I could have all the sweets I wanted as long as it came from fruit and did awesomely well without the bad cravings.

  2. I'm always munching down on fruit, especially grapes and peaches.Your portions are so nice and small. I try to keep my dinners at a reasonable size, but by the end of the day I'm starving! I need to get better at portion control and cutting out noodles. :/

    1. Hi Michelle! Thanks for your comment :) I <3 noodles! Someone told me to make 1/2 what I would normally make and add more veggies to make up for the missing noodles. Truthfully, I get hungry too. It helps to drink tons of tea and water! xo Kelly

  3. This all looks so yummy. Although I have to admit, I wonder if I'd get full on all this. I'm trying to eat healthier and smaller portions but wow, I'm just not good enough yet... I crave chocolate too much and sometimes fruit is just not satisfying enough haha.

    1. Thanks Victoria! I caved and bought a jar of Nutella. I'm going to try to eat fruit only when I want sweets, but if that isn't enough I will dip my fruit into a small amount of Nutella! xo Kelly
